1. Education:

Education is a main instrument of progress and development of any community if proper care would be taken from the beginning future can become brighter and prosperous keeping this philosophy in mind DST has taken nursery education very seriously today we are running several “Balwadies” in remote area of tribal belt of Mangrol taluka of surat district Gujarat state. |

2. Women empowerment:

A rural woman has been playing a vital role in her family's economy.It is also widely accepted that an educated woman can serve well than hundred of teachers.With this understanding DST has taken up comprehensive women |

development support programme, in this program we had selected women’s SHG as a vehicle of change and formulated 65 such SHGs, and provided all the required training to the member’s right from group strengthening to skill based training. Impact of this vigorous interaction some of the SHGs are now taking up several incomes generative activities and helped their familiesin number of crisis. Now they are also participating in Gramsabhas of able village panchayats and to raise their demands and problems. |

3. Livelihood:

- In our livelihood efforts we become a medium to linkage various program and schemes with needy one and provide timely support to get the benefits of it, recently we are working with most marginalized group of widows. With support of Social Defense Department of Gujarat Government we are trying to economically establish these women by enhancing their skills as a entrepreneur.
- Equipping needy rural masses with appropriate skills to get suitable means of earnings at their door step or nearby industries.

4. Health:

- We are working as a Field NGO under the Mother NGO scheme of Department Health and Family welfare of Gujarat State‚ under this program we are supporting Reproductive &Child Health Services to under served area of Ankleshwar Taluka of Gujarat State INDIA.
- HIV/AIDS is our other concern we are working with young citizens at Collages and Schools for crating general awareness about this problem.

5. Rural resource management:

This is a novel concept to use locally available resource at its optimum use. In this program we are collecting all the details about village and put it in a easy accessible form that one can easily get their requirement locally. |

6. Environment:

Environment Education is our other concern we are imparting Environment education to surrounding communities about “Drinking Water”‚ “Solid Waste Management” and general issues with the help of “VIKSAT” and other Organization of this area. |

7. Social security:
|
In the uncertain scenario of present time social security is become very important issue to address this issue and provide suitable coverage we are implementing “Micro Insurance Agent” Scheme of The Oriental Insurance co.Ltd. covering people of below poverty line with Insurance coverage. |
